GREG ALLMAN BAND
Greg came to my studio for the shoot. His unique voice was unmistakeable. The only problem was that neither myself or my assistant could understand a word he said. His gravelly voice was just like his singing voice. What a great images of a unique character. One of the great stories in Rock and Roll. The tragedies of his brother Duane, and Barry Oakley. His marriage to Cher. The great records before and after the deaths. But through all the ups and downs, he still retained the great blues voice. I am proud to have photographed him a number of times over the years.
