THE BEACH BOYS, BRIAN WILSON
Brian Wilson, the genius behind the Beach Boys. As a kid growing up in Cleveland, the Beach Boys taught me about cars, surfing ( in Cleveland?) and being cool. I wanted to live in California and be as cool as them. My first slow dance was to "Surfer Girl". I'll always remember Debbie Brown. "In My Room" made me feel wonderful as a young boy. But "Pet Sounds" showed me I had a soul. Thank You, Brian!
These shots of members of the legendary Beach Boys were shot at different times over the years. I shot Dennis, in the mid-70's, Brian was photographed in the early 90's. Mike Love was in San Francisco for the Gavin in 1992.
